No hoi polloi here...

I think Jeremy Paxman just cheated the University of Nottingham out of 5 points on a question about the Human League and the song "Don't you want me, baby?" on University Challenge. But I don't think Nottingham are taking this seriously at all, too much sniggering going on while the Oxford team looks extremely sincere and are conferring in an urgent fashion whenever they're questioned.
I love University Challenge.

Though I never intended this to be a post on a frankly rather smug university gameshow, it seems to have started out that way. It was actually going to be a post about how I think I'm rediscovering my love of bags (an IT-bag would never get this reaction out of me) because of the two designers behind label Hoiming. Hoiming Fung and Baldwin Pui co-founded the label in 2006 and their leather bags are gorgeous. The designers make the bags within deconstructed leather jackets, creating bags that completely are unique and quirky without the need for a million zips, monograms, padlocks and pockets. They're just beautiful in an odd, interesting way.

PS. Just to say that I'll be replying to all post-related comments on my blog from now on!
